Welcome to St John’s Community Primary School and Nursery Website, which provides information and news about the school.

Our Mission Statement commits the school to helping all children develop their full potential and to acquire the attitudes, experiences, knowledge and skills necessary for their future. We have clear and high expectations of our children and we strive to raise achievement and self esteem in a happy, caring, stimulating, supportive and secure environment. Central to our thinking on the provision of such an environment is the concept of partnership, which helps shape and develop a school.

St John’s values the partnership between the children, their parents, the teaching and non teaching staff and governors. We regard effective communication between these groups as fundamental for school improvement and consequently our website stands as an important conduit between the school, its stakeholders and the local community.
